Personal Profile

Liu Feiyun is the director of the Department of Music of Southwest Jiaotong University, an associate professor, a master's tutor, a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, the director of the Sichuan Musicians Association, and the conductor of the 1896 Chorus. He published more than ten papers in professional journals such as "Chinese Music", "Music Exploration" and "Film Literature".

He won many prizes in international and domestic music competitions. He went to Austria to participate in the 5th World Choral Competition and participated in the "Patriotic Songs for Everyone" exhibition held by CCTV, as well as the cross-strait vocal competition and the Rongcheng Autumn Concert, winning gold medals and first prizes. In addition, "Song of the Builder" won the silver medal in China's second songwriting competition, and "The Sunset of the Green Mountain" was broadcasted on CCTV's "Years as a Song" program.

So far, he held more than thirty teaching concerts such as Schubert's vocal suite "Winter Journey" and "Beautiful Mill Girl", and many of students have excelled in various competitions and concerts at home and abroad, and entered internationally renowned institutions in Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as domestic famous schools such as Tsinghua University, China Conservatory of Music and Beijing Normal University for further studies.
