Jiang Ningping is a Ph.D, pofessor of Communication Department, master’s supervisor. His research orientation includes movie and TV communication and new media research. He is board member of China Network Communication Society and Youth Research Association of Film and Television Academy of Chinese College, Vice President of Radio, Film and Television Higher Education Association of Sichuan, responsible person of Chengdu New Media Analysis and Evaluation Base. In 2010, as a young bachbone teacher, he went to George Mason University to study academic English; and during 2016-2017, as a visiting scholar, he was despatched to University of California, Davis. He has hosted several national, provincial and local research projects; authored or co-authored 9 books and published many papers. His academic work once won Writing Award of the Second National Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for Young Journalism Scholars, the First Award of National Radio and Television Academic Works Award. His research paper was evaluated as 1 first prize and 2 second prizes in the evaluation of excellent articles of Chinese radio, film and television periodicals. In 2016, he won the title of the sixth “Hundred Excellent Theoretical Talents” in radio, film and television. He has instructed one whose master’s thesis has been evaluated as University-level excellent master's thesis, and several students’ undergraduate ones have been evaluated as University-level excellent indergraduate's thesis.
