Duan Congxue, graduated from Peking University, obtained a Ph. D. in Literature. Now, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Humanities, SWJTU. He is also Vice President of Sichuan Luxun Research Association, executive board member of Guo Moruo Society, Deputy Secretary General of Basic Education Committee of China Luxun Research Association. He mainly devotes to history of modern Chinese literature, and review and study of Chinese new poetry, as well as general cultural theory. He has rich research results, and so far, has published over 130 academic papers, including over 60 CSSCI papers. 3 academic monographs and several compiled works have been published. Several papers were forwarded by Xinhua Digest and People University's printed materials Study on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature. He was supported by National Social Society Fund for 3 times, and by provincial and ministerial research funds for 6 times. Among his projects, National Social Science Youth Fund project got “Excellence” when finished, whose results were evaluated as “example of historical materials research”. In the fields of anti-Japanese war literature research, and review and study of Chinese new poetry, Duan Congxue has good academic reputation and is in a leading position in the country.
