Zhou Junxun, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, post-doctor, reserve candidates of the 9th batch of science and technology leader of Sichuan Province, executive board member of Philological Society of Sichuan Province, executive board member of Chinese Minority Languages Society. His research orientation includes Chinese historical linguistics, language contact. He undertakes 2 National Social Planning projects, 2 Ministry of Education Planning Fund projects, and 4 national language protection projects. Nearly 40 essays by him have been published on academic journals like Chinese Language, Language Sciences, Chinese Literature and History, Journal of Sichuan University, Guizhou Ethnic Studies, Ancient Books Clearing up and Research. He also has two monographs: Vocabulary Research of Mythical Stories in Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties, and Research Synopsis of Studies on Mid-ancient Chinese Vocabulary. He won 2 third awards of Outstanding Works of Sichuan Philosophical and Social Science.
