♣ Teacher Profile

Tang Xinmei, a native of Chengdu, Sichuan, is a Doctor of Dual Culture in Nanjing University - Nara Women's University, Associate Professor of Department of Chinese Language and Literature, School of Humanities.

Main research directions: Ancient Chinese Literature (in the direction of Ming and Qing), Study of Chinese Classical Text (Study on the Catalogue of Ming and Qing Versions). She published Monographs: A Concise Reader of Chinese Thinkers' Commentary · Ji Xiaolan (popular reading materials of social science).

She presided over the 2011 Youth Project of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, "Women's Articles and Ming and Qing Societies (11YJCZH155)", and the 2014 Twelfth Five-Year Plan Project of Sichuan Social Science Research, "Lin Sijin and Research on Sichuan Engraving and Engraving Industry in the Republic of China (SC14C026)", the 2015 Youth Project of National Social Science Fund of China "Research on the General Collection of Women's Articles in Past Dynasties (15CZW030)", and the 2018 Scientific Research Start-up Fund Project for Talent Introduction of Southwest Jiaotong University Project "Bibliography and Gender Research".

She published more than ten articles in Wenxian, Journal of the Institute for Chinese Classics Studies, Chinese Poetics, Historical Document and other academic journals.

She undertook undergraduate teaching courses such as Ancient Chinese Literature 4 - Ming and Qing Literature, Intensive Reading of Ancient Chinese Literature Classics-A View of Ancient Chinese Literature and the postgraduate teaching courses such as Research on Poetry and Prose in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

She instructed undergraduate SRTP provincial innovation project "Traffic Changes Vision: Compilation of Women's Travel Writing Materials in Ming and Qing Dynasties", "Yang Hua Image" innovative project on the inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture, "Exploration of Contemporary Sichuan Roads Applying for World Heritage and Tourism Cultural Value: Taking Jinniu Road as an Example".
