The morning of April 12th, the students from Confucius Institute boarded the bus bound for the ancient town of Shangliin Ya'an, beginning a pleasant trip toSichuanfamous historical and cultural town. The ancient town ofShangliwas named "historical and cultural town" bySichuanProvincein 1982. It is the transit of Red Army's northward long march and the old Southern Tea Horse Road Town.Heard to appreciate Ya'an ancient town, foreign students were very excited. Students fromThailandand Czech also sang songs with led teacher. The foreign students went to visit this ancient town in haste when they arrive it, Along the river white sliced bamboo shoots drying on the mat, listening to the led teacher's saying that it is the ingredients for the lunch, students all wanted to have a taste.

Entering the alleyways in town, the students are attracted by ornament with antique flavour and food with local characteristics. With a variety of handmade products in hand, the students bargalned with shopkeepers who surprised by their influent Chinese. The arrival of foreign students added a different scenery for the town. Other visitors often came to ask for taking a group photo and the foreign students responsed politely,

Having appreciated of the ancient town's most distinctive alleys, visited the Erxian bridge, experienced foot bridge running water, traditional green trees, and tasted characteristics Green Tea of Mengding Mountain, the foreign students ended a day of travel. Everyone said that this journey was very pleasant. They not only see theChinatraditional and ancient culture and customs, but also feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of Chinese friends.
